The printing process includes prepress, in-press, and post-press, and each process requires attention to many procedures and details. In prepress production, a key step for efficient completion of the printing process, various product types, graphics, texts, colors, and other design elements are involved, particularly in digital printing.
Prepress Inspection Points:
1. Text proofreading
2. Layout size setting
3. Check the front and back layer relationship of all page design elements
4. Make sure the image resolution setting is appropriate
5. Ensure the EPS graphics have correct screen angles
6. Has Chinese text had heavy processing?
7. Confirm black text, lines, and color blocks overlaying on the bottom looking- to check whether it had the superposition print deal.
8. Have the color blocks connected point been stretched and/or compressed?
9. Is it necessary to compress font and stretch color blocks when overlapping text and color blocks?
10. Whether it requires special colors, i.e., spot colors.
